Our culture and communities desperately need men of character and integrity.  Men that lead and influence society according to the values and lifestyle of Jesus Christ, who modeled what a, “Real Man,” is.  The same Jesus that wept, flipped tables over as a warrior zealous for God!  Are our churches raising up real, biblical, masculine men?  Or are we raising up as Mark Driscoll says, “a bunch of nice, soft, chick-i-fied, church boys?” (From this video on The Need for Male Leadership in the Church)

Recently I was able to speak at The Sanctuary, Men’s Conference.  It was incredible to see the building packed out with men of all ages, cultures, and backgrounds, coming together to worship Jesus, and to be trained to be champions that lead in society.  Real men that building strong families and impacting culture.

Jay Haizlip, one of the pioneering greats in the sport of skateboarding, is the lead pastor of the church.  I encourage you to check out what he is doing at Sanctuary Church!  I was able to sit down and do a video blog with him (CLICK HERE to watch it).

In closing I want to ask the pastors and leaders reading this:
-What are you doing to be intentional to raise up “Real Men?”
-Do you think there is a lack of godly, masculine, christian men in the church in general?
-What can we do about it?

Talk Soon!
