Responsive
Today day I want to cover the R which
stands for Responsive. All strong pastors and leaders are people who are responsive.
In other words they see what is happening around them and they respond in the
appropriate manner. Too many people love to keep talking about something while
others respond and take action. I believe that the difference between average
people and great leaders is how one responds!
I am reminded about Abraham in
Genesis 22 when God came to him and told him to go and sacrifice his one and
only son. Abraham did not sit around and think about it nor did he form a
committee and talk about it. He responded to the voice of God and did what the
Lord asked him to do. As a result Abraham received divine provision at the
very last moment before sacrificing his son. God was looking for Abraham to
respond in faith and in turn God met him in the last moment.
In the times we are living in the
Lord is looking for people, leaders and pastors who will respond to Him when He
speaks. This is not the time to sit back and wait for the perfect conditions before you stop out and do something. This is the day to step out and respond in faith when
we hear God speak to us. God sees greatness in you and you must step out and
believe Him.
May I encourage you today to BE RESPONSIVE
TO JESUS AND ALL THAT HE ASKS. YOU ARE A GREAT LEADER, PERSON AND PASTOR. NOW
RESPOND.
