Giving Life The Finger
This past weekend as I was preaching I told my church that sometimes you have to give life the finger. No not the middle finger but the finger you hold up when you give the #1 sign. When you give life the finger you are pointing up to your source and strength. No longer are we going to try and do life in our power or look at ourselves as being the source.
The Bible says in Proverbs 3:5 to “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding.” Trusting God is an indication of who is your source. I am not going to lean on my own understanding when it comes to leading the church or my family. No I need God’s wisdom and insight not my own.
So today hold up that finger at life and tell the world who is your source and provider.
