Holy Spirit And Church

Well we have done it. We have stepped into our new series, Supernatural. I have told some of my friends and they are wondering how far I am willing to go in this series. My question to them is what do you mean?

After some discussion, they are wondering about the Holy Spirit and having supernatural manifestations of the Holy Spirit. Being a charismatic church and wanting for God to move supernaturally is not ever a question. However, how and to what degree is the Holy Spirit going to move. So many churches are struggling with this question of the Holy Spirit and what is appropriate and not appropriate in a weekend service.

There have been extremes on both sides. Some are having occurrences almost every week and if one does not occur than God did not move. Others have no occurrences and like it that way. I am not opting for either, I want both/and. Yet to live in this tension is not always easy nor is it taught. I choose to look at the New Testament where they had both happening.

I would like your take on this. Please leave a response whether you are a pastor, leader or attender of a church.

Life of a Pastor,

Benny Perez

All I can say is "WOW" I have listened to your supernatural message twice now and I think I am going to listen to it again before the day is out! So good. I love the passage from Acts 19 you shed such good light on it! I love it can't wait to hear what more is to come in the series! Blessings and favor on you and your ministry! Thank you for who you are and what you are!

I am thankful to be in a church where they are not afraid of the movement of the Holy Spirit, I have been in both kind of churches and feel that you Pastor Benny hear from God, move in His Spirit and have complete control of the chruch services so it is not ever out of control. We come from Pahrump every week on Saturdays to exprience Woship and whatever God has for us. We consider ourselves part of your boday and you are Pastor even though we are sixty miles away

I say Pastor Benny... Go Go Go. It is so refreshing to find a church and a Pastor who is sooo.. REAL. I want the Holy Spirit to be able to move freely and restore the broken hearted and meet the needs of Gods people, equipping them to go out and to help those that hurt too much to enter a church door. I have been to your church twice now and the first time i was there I knew I was home. God has sent us all the way from kokomo, IN. to be a part of the move of God in Las vegas. I walked in to church and could feel the Glory of God as a thick cloud as I walked to my seat, you dont have that in a church that doesnt let the Holy Spirit have complete control. All I know is that the church at south las vegas has only begun in the experiences and manifestations of God thru His wonderful Holy spirit, The Lord has told me, " watch and see what I will do" I am so excited to be part of the body of Christ. As I said last nights saturday service was only my sencond time to the Church and God has completely restored my body. I HAVE NO PAIN AT ALL. Praise God, please keep on keeping on in the Glory of God, we have too much to do for the body of Christ.
