Faith Without Works Is Dead

We are studying the Book of James verse by verse. It is one of the most practical books in the Bible and shows us that real Faith results in our lifestyle being impacted. Today I read the portion in James 2:17 "Thus, also faith by itself, if it does not have works is dead."

I began to think about my life and my profession of Faith in Jesus Christ. Does my profession work its way out in demonstration? The world's greatest need is not for more Christianity but for Christ Followers to begin to walk out what they say. The world around us is looking for the Real Life Application of Jesus in every day life.

I have heard so many people talk about all the hypocrites in church. How so many of us proclaim one thing and yet seemingly are not impacted by Jesus in our lives. My prayer is that Jesus is not just someone I accepted years ago into my life but is someone I speak with everyday of my life. My prayer for all of us is that we rely on Jesus more and more. Knowing we cannot do live our Faith in our own power but in the power of the Risen Savior Jesus Christ.

So today lets live out our faith through Jesus Christ
