I have found myself in the last few days asking God for all the new things that I believe we need to have for our church. I am asking for another building and for another campus and getting ready to step out in faith.

Then the though occurred to me: Spend some time Thanking God for what He has already done in my life. Before I move so quickly into the future, I need to remember what He has done and Thank Jesus for everything in my life that He has given me. Sometimes we are so quick to keep moving on that we forget to say Thank You in the Now.

Stop right now and begin to Thank the Lord for specific things He has done in your life. Don't be too quck to move forward until you have Thanked Him for the Present, knowing He has your future secure.
